The existing irrigation system at our client’s property in Berkshire was upgraded and extended to serve the newly landscaped garden.
Project Details
The irrigation system at Compton was upgraded and extended to serve the newly landscaped garden. This project required a reliable automatic watering system that could support both lawn areas and planted beds, while integrating with the new garden layout.
System type
Upgraded automatic irrigation system.
Water source
Above ground 5,000 litre tank.
Key brands
DAB, Hunter Hydrawise, Rain Bird, Palaplast.
Best for
Landscaped gardens requiring lawn and planting irrigation.
The system is supplied from an above ground 5,000 litre water storage tank and uses a DAB Divertek 900 submersible pump to provide water to the irrigation network. Control is managed through a Hunter HCC Hydrawise controller, allowing the system to be programmed, monitored and adjusted remotely.
A two wire decoder system was installed to support efficient control across the garden. Lawn areas are irrigated using Rain Bird 5000 Series rotors and Rain Bird 1800 Series pop up sprinklers with R VAN rotary nozzles. Planted areas are watered using Palaplast Paladrip pressure compensated dripline, installed with HDPE pipework for a durable distribution network.
