Wherwell Priory Estate is a large scale estate irrigation project comprising two separate borehole fed systems. The first completed system was designed to support extensive lawns and planted areas across the estate, using a private borehole supply and large underground water storage.

The installation includes a 10,000 litre underground Enduramaxx water storage tank and two Grundfos SQE borehole pumps with constant pressure control. This gives the system the water supply and pressure stability required for an estate scale irrigation installation.
The system is managed by a Hunter HCC Hydrawise controller and uses a two wire decoder system for efficient control across the site. Rain Bird 5000 Series rotors and Rain Bird 1800 Series pop up sprinklers with R VAN rotary nozzles provide lawn coverage, while Palaplast Paladrip pressure compensated dripline is used for planted areas. HDPE mainline pipework forms the main irrigation distribution network.
