Hortlands were contacted by a very worried garden designer on a large project just outside Henley on Thames. The local company appointed to the project were struggling to handle the large trees imported from Germany and Holland. The large trees that required planting were cedar, silver birch, amelanchia, oak, beech, yew and holly.
The client brief was to unload and plant trees from six artic lorries. Each was full of very large heavy trees imported from across Europe.
Our expert team of tree planters used three mobile 100 tonne cranes along with two heavy-lift telehandlers.
After careful planning, the project successfully saw the planting of a wide range of semi-mature trees.
Our team also stayed on site to assist with all the smaller semi-mature trees and Hortlands now maintain the high specification garden for the property owner.
