This project in Gerrards Cross consisted of two Millboard balconies and a basement decking area. Each project was created using antique oak, enhanced grain decking.
Millboard decking is a great choice for those looking for a durable, low-maintenance decking option. Made from a unique combination of polyurethane and minerals, Millboard decking is resistant to rot, warping, and insect damage. It also requires no staining, sealing, or painting, making it a cost-effective solution over time. The realistic wood-like finish of Millboard decking is also a great choice for those who want the look of wood without the upkeep. Additionally, Millboard decking is slip-resistant and easy to install, making it a great choice for both residential and commercial properties.
The USP of this job, and all Millboard decking jobs that Hortlands complete, is that we built the decking on top of a composite frame using the pedestal method. Unlike a wooden frame, a composite frame will never rot, giving it a lifetime guarantee. So we can rest assured once our job is complete the decking will be fit for purpose for years and years to come.
