This year we were asked to supply some subtle Christmas florals as a final touch to our clients Christmas interior displays. The larger arrangements had already been made using foliage and berries that had been foraged from the grounds of the client’s own property. So, our brief was to simply fill vases with long lasting festive flowers.
Our inhouse florist manager supplied and arranged a collection of beautiful cut flowers and foliage to the client and used their own vases for a more personal touch. We used fresh seasonal flowers such as, Ilex berries, eucalyptus, amaryllis, skimmia, tulips, fern, rosehips and Chrysanthemum blooms. All in festive shades of red, burgundy and green to be innkeeping with the Christmas feel. Not only are these blooms seasonal but also long lasting, so they didn’t have to be changed again over the holiday, simply kept topped up with fresh water.
These simple yet effective flower arrangements made a great addition to the family home over Christmas, and were enjoyed by the client and their guests alike.
