Garden Maintenance in Hertfordshire

Hortlands have maintained this client’s garden on the borders of Northwest London and Hertfordshire since 2018. The team work off of a bespoke schedule all year round, consisting of one visit a week in the summer months, and one visit per fortnight throughout winter.

During these tailored visits our team on the ground maintain both the front and back gardens. The lawn is mowed and fed, always ensuring it’s in best health. Weed and pest problems are treated if and when needed along with an annual scarify, aerate and re seed. Along with the lawns we also care for all the flower beds and borders. Keeping them weed free at all times, edges looking sharp and clean and all plants pruned and divided when required. A tailored feeding plan is put together for the garden and applied, when necessary, with additional care and attention during the growing season.

This particular garden boasts a beautiful modern style, with Mediterranean influences. We endeavor to do our upmost to maintain this unique garden, and help create that holiday feeling it instantly evokes. We often suggest new plants we think will suit the gardens style and conditions, make sure the lawns and foliage always look lush and green and keep the patio and steps in pristine condition.

Our experienced and knowledgeable teams always follow best horticulture practice, they have immense attention to detail and will always report and suggest improvement works when they see necessary. This is what really shows the difference between a Hortlands kept garden, and another that isn’t professionally cared for. Each of our garden maintenance sites are assigned a two-man team to look after the grounds, this ensures the team get to know the gardens needs as well as the clients’ requirements. Making for the most successful results for this garden, and across all of our other sites.
