The hedge was planted to secure the boundary of our client’s private home estate in Marlow Bottom, Buckinghamshire. The hedge runs alongside a security fence that lines the perimeter of the property. As the fence isn’t particularly attractive, the hedge acts as a privacy screen and helps to hide the fence and blend it in with the surrounding countryside. Not only does the hedge offer security it is also a beneficial habitat for wildlife. It can provide food, shelter, and nesting sites for a wide variety of wildlife, including birds, insects, and small mammals.
