A concerned Buckinghamshire customer contacted us for help at his premises on the outskirts of High Wycombe, situated on the edge of the beautiful Chiltern Hills, an area of natural beauty (AONB).
For many years the view from his home, across and outwards beyond his garden were vast, open grazing land with mature native trees. A beautiful vista. It therefore came as a surprise when a local farmer sold part of this land to a developer and before long, new houses began to appear.
The idea of planting a high hedge or screen of the same species would simply look out of place in this beautiful location, so we recommended and agreed to carefully select a balanced group of semi-mature trees, mostly native species, which would blend and harmonize into the surroundings.
The trees planted were selected to be suitable for the soil type, and to achieve the amount of screening desired. The mixture includes various textures, colours and shapes which blend into each other and provide visual interest all year round.
