The new owner of the property was making a number of changes to the layout of the house and gardens, with screening being a key, along with the desire to create a stunning look for the whole garden. This included areas around the driveway as well as a pond.
Our proposal included a range of trees and hedge including:
Other trees planted were thuja, yew, beech and holly.
A key feature near to the parking area is a 3.5 metre high box table top plant. The design also contained some graceful planting, including Hydrangea macrophylla, Vibernum tinus and climbing rose. Quality was a recurring theme during all discussions. All of the hedges, trees and plants conform to the British Standard BS3936-1:1992 as a minimum specification.
“We had no idea that it was possible to plant such mature trees and plants until we met Alan. He guided us through all the options with great patience and expertise. What he has helped us achieve is quite remarkable and we love the fact that we have not needed to wait five years for the garden to look part of the landscape.”
